G-ASSB, Piper PA-30 Twin Comanche (CN 30-432) of Air Charter Scotland photographed over Strathmore, with Steve Maric at the controls. Forfar and Forfar Loch visible behind. I think I shot this from the back seat of an ancient Cherokee with scratched perspex, so it's not that sharp. Originally delivered to CSE Aviation in June 1964, the aircraft had many owners over the years including Skyworks, Northern Executive, West Berks Boat Company and Villotel Ltd. Owned by ACS between 1986-1988, it moved on to Mercia Aviation, then Cold Storage (Jersey) Ltd and finally James Crinnan of Gerrards Cross. The aircraft was reregistered in August 1992 after which it became an Instructional Airframe with Brooklands Technical College.
