Overall
Lisa Evans- We loved this camp site from the minute we arrived ( which was about 11pm due to vehicle problems and breaking down). The owner and the campsites long term residents were very welcoming despite the late arrival and the noise that 5 children aged under 11 were making , whilst we set up the tents. There is a sandpit , swing and large green area for the kids to play ( and adults as we utilised the space to play a family game of rounders ). The children were encouraged to play on their bikes and with their balls etc and we were checked on to see that we were happy and satisfied several times , without it being intrusive. There is a free fridge and freezer to use which was an absolute God send in the middle of a heat wave and the showers and loos were immaculate. If you're looking for a no frills, make your own fun , family orientated and friendly campsite then this is ideal. And the best bit was it's a couple of minutes drive to the lovely clean beach and town. It's a walkable distance but up a quite steep incline coming back so jump in the car if your not feeling energetic. We will definitely be returning, well worth the price. overall 5.0 out of 5

Overall
Jules Hill- Site has completely gone down hill, showers and toilets never cleaned...John could do with HELP AND UPGRADING TO SUCCEED. Old wood tables in toilets, no hand wash or dryer facility. Not enough children's activities. Metal slides etc, no picnic tables. Don't feel field is insect treated. Campsite could be a HUGE SUCCESS if there was a small on site manned office, facilities to purchase milk and eggs etc on site for breakfasts would be great. Showers need a good jetwash walls and floors. Rundown mirrors need replacing. Metal slide and swing for kids would be beneficial to families with children as it is advertised as COUPLES AND FAMILIES ONLY yet no facilities there. I'm sure if he hired a groundsman, cleaner and maintenance guy his business could be booming AGAIN We were charged 17 a night for a small tent no electric! WE USED TO GET CHARGED 15 POUNDS!!! IT SHOULF BE AROUND £15 none electric per night £20 electric per night £30 electric caravans per night Extra fiver large gazebos. WE HAD A BBQ, A SMALL ONE ON LEGS AND LET ME TELL YOU NOW A COUPLE LAST WEEKEND HAD A MASSIVE FIRE IN A STEEL BIN STANK FIELD OUT...know the guy your on about, wonder how much ground he paying???? He doesn't work for John the owner so you font answer to him overall 1.0 out of 5
