Andrew Buckley- Fantastic campsite with all the facilities of a much larger site. It is very well located, near enough the major sites of the Eastern Brecon Beacons and the large town of abergavenny to stock up on supplies. There's a good variety of pitches for tents only, vans + tents, and caravans. overall 5.0 out of 5

Naomi Price- I stayed at the log pod for two nights and would recommend it to anyone who loves to explore Wales and the countryside and spend time going outdoors - But doesn’t own a caravan or doesn’t want to bother with putting up and down of a tent. The log pod is cosy and because you bring your own bedding its a home from home! The seating/ bed area is easy to transform and sleeps two adults comfortably. I personally think that you could also get 1 adult or two kids on the floor too! Along with the convertible bedding area, it has a spacious living area with table that folds flat and can be used in or outdoors. Two camping chairs, fridge (which is a little noisy as it’s SO quiet at night), electric fan, plenty of electric charging points, mirror, hooks, plastic tableware and a bbq outside to use too. The campsite itself is much bigger than you’d expect and nice to have a little stroll around, its tastefully sectioned off so doesn’t feel crowded. Theres a cute shop on site selling everything you need or may have forgotten plus tasty fresh eggs! Plenty of drinking water taps around and the arrivals board has a clear map to show you the different pitches available. There is a cute pond area with running water which is really tranquil to sit and relax (apart from when the neighbour started using a hedge trimmer). There are wardens that stay onsite for any troubles and their areas are clearly labeled. The site is really well looked after and even after the dry hot weather we have had in Wales there are still lovely flowers around! I stayed midweek during school summer holidays and heard a mix of nationalities whilst there, although busy there was always toilets and shower blocks available which were very clean with clear notices around to encouracy courteous use for other guests. The surrounding area is incredible, I never knew there was so much to do. (I live about 1 hour and 15 minutes away) We picked up some leafets from the campsite shop about walks in the local area and headed to the small town of Crickhowell. Followed a route for two hours and came across some lovely sites including the longest stone bridge in Wales, the brecon canal and a huge redwood tree. Ate that evening at the Bear in Crickhowell, very disappointed due to the time taken for food to arrive and lack of interaction and customer services. However the Brownie and Bunch place was amazing!! We went into Abergavenny and caught the flea market and looked around the shops and many cafés. As said before, I would recommend this campsite as a base to all of my friends and family, especially those who enjoy walking, bike riding or just being in the fresh air and the great outdoors. Thanks Cwmdu Campsite for a lovely break! overall 5.0 out of 5

Jemes Bates- What a great camp site, lovely location with plenty of walks close by. There is access to the brook so you dunk your dog in if it's hot. The wardens were very helpful and friendly, can't recommend the place enough. overall 5.0 out of 5
