Gina Millard- Just had a brilliant stay at Trefalun Park. Toilet and shower block kept to a very high standard. Superb area for the children to play with lots of apparatus. The whole site is very well maintained and even though it has rained the pitches have remained in good condition. It was nice to arrive to a clean all weather pitch that looked unused. Looking forward to coming back soon and would recommend. overall 5.0 out of 5

Paul Lawrence- Campers beware! Boggy site. We stayed here last year with our trailer tent. It rained during our stay, our pitch became submerged in mud and unmanageable, as did most if not all others. The owners of the site were of no help and were not interested in offering any alternative! As we had already paid in full for our 10 night stay they were quite happy for us to pack up and leave after just 4 nights as the pitch was no longer fit for purpose. We were refused any form of partial refund as we were told it states in their terms and conditions if you decide to vacate early then no refund would be given! We explained that it was not our choice to leave the site, but as the pitch was not in a serviceable condition we had no choice. I was told by the lady in reception that this is part of camping and a chance you take! I found this a totally unacceptable attitude. The owners are clearly aware of the issue with their campsite and the substantial lack of suitable dranage or soakaway. I can only assume this is why they ask for full payment in advance. I had asked for a £100 refund out of the £300 we had paid which considering we had only stayed 4 nights out of our 10 night holiday, I felt this was more than fair. This was flatly refused and again with the owners expressing total disregard for customer service or satisfaction. Be aware this site is not sutable for tents or trailer tents. The pitches are uneven and trap water. The owners clearly have no regard for their customers so don't expect any help, advice or alternative pitch to be offered and certainly don't expect to see your money again. Once you have paid, you are on your own! Discussing attitude and behaviour from the owners which is a shame as the site is in a good location with nice facilities. Let down by the management. Avoid if you are in a tent or expect any form of customer satisfaction. We found another campsite near by that were very helpful accommodating and pitches in far better condition with appropriate dranage, so in my opinion there are better more friendly sites avaliable in the area than this one. Our holiday ended up costing us more than double what it should have and this in turn affected what we had planned to do whilst visiting Wales with our children, all thanks to being fobbed off by this campsite. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. overall 1.0 out of 5
